Ehsan Rouhani received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Shahrekord University, Shahrekord, Iran, in 2006, the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering from the Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2018. His research area was "Control of Weight-Bearing Bilateral Walking on Treadmill Using Intraspinal Microstimulation" under the supervision of Prof. Abbas Erfanian in Iran Neural Research Center in Iran University of Science and Technology. Since 2018, he has been a Faculty Member with Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran. The principal focus of his research is on the robust control of the movement through functional electrical stimulation and transcranial electrical stimulation of the brain. His research interests include fuzzy neural network estimator, adaptive and sliding mode control of the neuromusculoskeletal system using intraspinal microstimulation, chaos control, and robust control of nonlinear biological systems.
